As you probably already know, Superbad director Greg Mottola is in post production on a film based on his own experiences at the Long Island amusement park. Adventureland is a period comedy film set in the 1980s which follows a college graduate, played by Jesse Eisenberg, who was prepared to spend his summer in Europe but when his father is laid off, he is now stuck at home and forced to get a job at a local amusement park called Adventureland, where comedy ensures and love blossoms. Box Office - The Mummy Opens with $15, Dark Knight in Second Place

It appears that The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor will be the movie to take the box office crown away from The Dark Knight. After two record-breaking weeks, the Batman movie will most likely drop to second place, based on Fridays estimates released by Box Office Mojo. However, its not like the bottom is just dropping out for The Dark Knight; the movie could still earn $40 million or more this weekend, and its total after 17 days could put it very close to $400 million.
